The Grands Letter (Rom/GLJ)

March 14, 2016

Dear Grands,

Your verse for today is:

Romans 16:17, “Now I urge you, brethren, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and hindrances contrary to the teaching which you learned, and turn away from them.”

With all the emphases in Scripture for us to witness and instruct people in the teachings of

Scripture, there is also instruction to watch carefully and turn away from some. Dissensions means “standing apart,” their act of separating persons from one another. Hindrances translates “a trap, a snare or stumbling block.” Some people just want us to fail. And turn away is an imperative verb! Don’t be fooled into thinking you can help them. Just turn away!

Love you all very much,

Nana & Dado III
