Dear Grands,

Hebrews 12:7-11, β€œIt is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons;

for what son is there whom his father does not discipline? 8 But if you are without discipline,

of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.

9 Furthermore, we had earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them; shall we

not much rather be subject to the Father of spirits, and live? 10 For they disciplined us for

a short time as seemed best to them, but He disciplines us for our good, so that we may

share His holiness. 11 All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful;

yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.”

Spiritual discipline leads to discipline in all areas of life. Adequate sleep is discipline.

Consumption of proper food is discipline. Being on time is discipline. But look at what

It yields!

Love you all in discipline,

Dear Grands,

Psalm 46:1, β€œGod is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.”

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your

own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make

your paths straight.”

Dear Grands,

Proverbs 16:7, β€œWhen a man’s ways are pleasing to the LORD,

He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.”

How do we make our ways pleasing to Him? We follow the

promptings of the Holy Spirit. The responsibilities are ours;

the results are His alone.

Love you all,

Dear Grands,

Hebrews 4:12, β€œFor the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword,

and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge

the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”

The Word of God, the Bible, is far more powerful than we

can imagine. That’s why simply sharing the Word is often

more effective than we know. We think we have failed,

but the Word sinks into the human heart and bears fruit.

Love you immensely,

Dear Grands,

Hebrews 2:17-18, β€œTherefore, He (Jesus) had to be made like His brethren in all things,

so that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God,

to make propitiation (sin offering) for the sins of the people. 18 For since He Himself was

tempted in that which He has suffered, He is able to come to the aid of those who are tempted.”

The LORD left nothing out. The Father sent His Son to Earth in human flesh, so He

would be like other men, so that He might become the sin offering for us on the

cross. As a human being, Jesus understands our inclination to sin and helps us

to overcome everything that is displeasing to the Father.

Love you all immensely,

Nana & Dado III
