Dear Grands,

Ephesians 4:29, “Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth,

but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment,

so that it will give grace to those who hear.”

We have no worry that anything like what Paul has in mind would ever

come out of any of your mouths! But, as with ourselves, we often fail to

say what the LORD would have us say to help strengthen others. These

are dangerous days, and we must speak forth what the LORD desires.

Love you all abundantly,

Nana & Dado III

Dear Grands,

Ephesians 3:14-19, “For this reason I bow my knees before the Father,

15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name,

16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory,

to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man,

17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith;

and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend

with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth,

19 and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge,

that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.”

Yes, this is a long passage! Yet, Paul does not pause, for it all ties together

just as the LORD has intended. Read it slowly and carefully and see how

wonderfully the LORD has prepared to bless those who are His.

God bless you all abundantly,

Dear Grands,

Galatians 6:9-10, “Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.

10 So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the

household of the faith.”

Don’t ever become discouraged! Don’t give in to giving up! Do what the LORD leads you to do

while you have the opportunity. Trust the LORD. Follow His leading. That’s how your doing good

produces the fruit He intends.

Love to you all,

Nana & Dado III

Dear Grands,

Galatians 1:22-24, “I was still unknown by sight to the churches of Judea which were in Christ;

23 but only, they kept hearing, “He who once persecuted us is now preaching the faith which he

once tried to destroy.” 24 And they were glorifying God because of me.”

Paul was unknown by sight to some of the churches, but they were nevertheless

excited because of the Gospel he was preaching. Yet, they were not glorifying

Paul; they were glorifying God. When I read this passage this morning, I wondered

If people who know I am preaching and teaching the Gospel are glorifying God or

glorifying me? Are we seeking for people to glorify the LORD or ourselves? We

are never to be the object of anyone’s glory. The LORD alone is to be glorified!

So, are we living so as to direct all glory toward Him?

Love you all immensely,

Nana & Dado III

Dear Grands,

2 Corinthians 9:6-8, “Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly,

and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 Each one must do just as he

has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful

giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all

sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed…”

I always take the Word of God as truthful at face value. Many years ago, Nana and I

learned to give beyond the tithe. We didn’t have much money, but we knew we had

more than most in the world. So, we decided to give to support those who were giving

of themselves to reach others for Christ. When Paul said (above) that the LORD “is

able to make all grace abound to you,” he wasn’t kidding. We have discovered that

the more we give, the more we have to give. We want to challenge you to pick out

someone who is seeking to reach others for Christ and share with them. It doesn’t

have to be a huge amount, just what the LORD leads you to give. You will be blessed!

Love you each and every one,

Nana & Dado III
