The Grands Letter

Dear Grands,

John 17:13-18, “’But now I come to Thee; and these things I speak in the world,

that they may have My joy made full in themselves. 14 “I have given them Thy Word;

and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not

of the world. 15 “I do not ask Thee to take them out of the world, but to keep them

from the evil one. 16 “They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

17 “Sanctify them in the truth; Thy word is truth. 18 “As Thou didst send Me into the world,

I also have sent them into the world.’”

John 17 is the LORD’s Prayer. Matthew six is the Model Prayer. In His prayer, our

LORD prays that we may have full joy. He prays that we might be kept from the

the Devil and his nefarious ways. He prays that we might be sanctified, made holy.

As we are physically strengthened by eating wholesome food, we are made holy by

living in His Word, which is Truth. And why does He pray that we may be holy? It is

so that we might be sent into the sick, evil world with His remedy.

We love you all! Live in and by His Word alone!
