The Grands Letter (GLJ)
Gene L. Jeffries, Th.D. on September 15, 2016 8:28 am (CST)Dear Grands,
John 2:5, “His mother said to the servants, ‘Whatever He says to you, do it.’”
It was the wedding at Cana and the wine had run out. Jesus’ mother turned
to Him to fix the situation. He responds that He had not come just to do
miracles at weddings. She turned to the servants and said, “Whatever He
might say to you, do it.” It does not seem to be a command for she had no
authority over the servants of the wedding host. It was just a wise suggestion.
~Think about it. We are not simply to do what we want. We are to do what
He says. That means we must be focused on Him and listen carefully to His
Word. When we know He is moving within us, we are to do it without delay!
The results, as with the wedding wine, are in His hands.
We love you and pray for you daily,
Please remember to pray for us, too,
