Dear Grands,

John 12:42-43, “Nevertheless many even of the rulers believed in Him,

but because of the Pharisees they were not confessing Him, for fear that

they would be put out of the synagogue; 43 for they loved the approval

of men rather than the approval of God.”

Like it or not (and I do not!), we’re living in a politically-correct world.

People are like the Pharisees in the verses above; they are afraid to

say what they really think and believe because they’re afraid of what

others will think of them. What we learn from the verses above is that

the dilemma in which the Pharisees found themselves was a dilemma

of their own making. And so it is with us today. Kids in public schools

today are told what they cannot wear to class, even what they can and

cannot believe! I didn’t live in such a situation when I was a kid, but

I never allowed anyone to force me to be silent when I felt like expressing

what I believed! It’s more difficult to make a stand today than it was when

I was young; but we must seek the approval of God rather than men!

Always make sure God approves, then fear no one when it comes to

expressing yourself. There’s a lot more at stake than being put out

of the synagogue.

Sorry this is so long. I’m still frightfully out-spoken!

Love you all much more than you know,

Nana & Dado III
