Dear Grands,

I Corinthians 3:21-23, “So then let no one boast in men. For all things belong to you,

22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or things present or

things to come; all things belong to you, 23 and you belong to Christ; and Christ belongs to God.”

The late Earl L. Pounds, the pastor who led Nana to Christ and who became my

pastor and mentor, once said to me, “Remember, ‘all things are yours.’” At that time,

I had no idea what he meant. But, the longer I live, the more I understand the

complexities of life and of God’s Holy Word. ~ The late W. A. Criswell, pastor of

First Baptist Church, Dallas, Texas, once said, “To be free, you must be a slave.

To be at liberty, you must be in bondage. To have the world, first you must

belong to Christ [Matthew 6:24-34 ; Mark 10:28-31 ; Luke 18:28-30 ].” ~ Thus,

everything from sunrise to sunset of every day, from the frigidity of winter

to the scorching heat of summer –it all belongs to you and me! The

challenge we have is what we do with what our LORD has given us.

God bless you abundantly,

Nana & Dado III
