Dear Grands,

2 John 1:10-11, “If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching,

do not receive him into your house, and do not give him a greeting;

for the one who gives him a greeting participates in his evil deeds.”

Despite the fact that we are to show love toward others, John speaks

quite adamantly in these two verses. People do come to your house

pretending to be Christians, when they do not believe the Bible. The

Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Mormons are typical. They want to

enter your house and share their teachings with you. It is important

that you NOT let them in. You house (or that of your parents) is your

family’s last place of real security. Even our laws indicate that, and

even the police have to obtain permission to enter your house. Also,

while you are to be pleasant toward them, be careful not to give any

indication that you agree with them in any way. Be positive in what

you believe, but not in what they say. Their pleasantness is designed

to put you off-guard. Don’t be misled and don’t mislead them into

believing that you agree with them even a little bit.

Some unbelievers come at us with guns; some come with smiles

and warmth. Both are enemies! Both are dangerous! Be always

on guard against evil and the Evil One!

Love you all immensely,

Nana & Dado III
