Dear Grands,

Psalm 121:5-8, “The LORD is your keeper;

The LORD is your shade on your right hand.

6 The sun will not smite you by day, Nor the moon by night.

7 The LORD will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul.

8 The LORD will guard your going out and your coming in

From this time forth and forever.”

Many instances of life are grievous. Things all around us, even

some unseen, endeavor to work against us. But we are to

remember that the LORD is our protector in every instance.

We are kept forever by our Keeper! He allows nothing to

discourage or devastate us. Yet, we must live in His Word!

We love and cherish you all dearly,

Dear Grands,

Psalm 119:7, “I shall give thanks to Thee with uprightness of heart,

When I learn Thy righteous judgments.”

Thanksgiving Day is but a reminder that everyday should be a

day of Thanksgiving. A long-time friend lies today on a hospital

bed with only the assurance that his final rest will be in the LORD.

Uprightness of heart is the necessary ingredient to giving genuine

thanks to the LORD. It’s what the Psalmist meant when he said,

“If I regard iniquity in my heart, the LORD will not hear me” (66:18).

Were you ever angry at someone and tried to say, “I’m sorry”?

There wasn’t much excitement about saying those words, was

there? The meaning –true meaning—was lacking. So it is with

our giving thanks to the LORD. Be right in your heart, then give

thanks! There’s SO MUCH for which we have to be Thankful!!!

Love and Prayers –true prayers,

Dearest Grands,

Psalm 105:1-4, “Oh give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name;

Make known His deeds among the peoples.

2 Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; Speak of all His wonders.

3 Glory in His holy name; Let the heart of those who seek the LORD be glad.

4 Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually.”

In these four brief verses, the Psalmist sets for virtually everything

we need to maintain our lives on His straight and narrow way. I had

a grand and glorious time with the Cadets last night at CAP. I spoke

of THANKSGIVING and told them how thankful I am to the LORD for

my parents, my precious wife, your parents and you. We can never

do better than to praise Him, share Him, Sing of and to Him, Talk about

Him, Boast of His Name, and Seek His strength and His purpose for our

lives. Have a great THANKSGIVING! We love you, each and every one!

Thanks, Prayers, & Love,

Dear Grands,

Psalm 105:1-3, “Oh give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name;

Make known His deeds among the peoples.

Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; Speak of all His wonders.

Glory in His holy name; Let the heart of those who seek the LORD be glad.”

Only the LORD Himself could inspire a man to write such words!

Regardless of you circumstances, “give thanks to the LORD.”

Proclaim His Name, so as to make it known among everyone.

Sing your praises unto Him and speak to Him of all His works.

Boast to Him and to others of His Holy Name! And rejoice in

your heart that you have Him as your strength and refuge.

Only recently, I read of the conversion of 300,000 Iranians!

They are living outside Iran because of the danger over their

conversion to Jesus Christ. But their hearts are glad, and they

are giving thanks!

Pray for one another, as we pray daily for you,

Dear Grands,

Psalm 96:11-13, Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice;

Let the sea roar, and all it contains; Let the field exult, and all that is in it.

Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy Before the LORD, for He is coming;

For He is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness,

And the peoples in His faithfulness.”

Simon Peter notes that “in the last days mockers will come…saying

‘Where is the promise of His coming” (1Pet 3:3-4)? The Psalmist had no doubts:

“He is coming to judge (govern) the earth.” Moreover, when He comes, look at

what the Earth’s elements will do: 1) the entire Earth will rejoice; 2) the sea will

roar; 3) the fields will be jubilant; 4) the trees will sing for joy! Really? Why? Paul

tells us: because “creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption

into the freedom of the glory of the children of God” (Rom. 8:21). We have no

idea how joyous that day will be! Just keep living as if Jesus were coming today.

Maybe He will. Maranatha!

Love you all joyously,
