Dear Grands,

Psalm 51:1-4, “Be gracious to me, O God, according to Thy lovingkindness;

According to the greatness of Thy compassion blot out my transgressions.

2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin.

3 For I know my transgressions, And my sin is ever before me.

4 Against Thee, Thee only, I have sinned, And done what is evil in Thy sight,

So that Thou art justified when Thou dost speak, And blameless when Thou dost judge.”

I’m sure that every judge likes to hear a prisoner say, “I’m guilty,” especially

when the crime is obvious. David had sinned and he knew it. There is

no way in the world that he could hope to escape judgment. He cries out

“Wash me…cleanse me…my sin is ever before me.” He was captive to his

conscience. But what is so amazing is that David viewed his sin as totally

against God. “Against Thee, Thee only, I have sinned.” He had obviously

sinned against Bathsheba; he sinned against Uriah, her husband; yet he

viewed his sin as against God. Think about it: everything we do that is

wrong and everything we fail to do that is right are sins against the LORD.

Yes, like David, we can be forgiven! But, we have to confess our sin to the

Eternal Judge, and ask His forgiveness.

We Love you all with an undying Love,

Dear Grands,

Psalm 33:18, “Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him.”

I’ve got my eye on you! Did anyone ever say that to you? What did

it mean? It could be one or more of several things. A mom, who has

given instruction for her child to clean a room means one thing: (You

better do it right, or you’ll do it until it is right!); a big brother, on the other

hand, might be saying, “I’ll watch out for you. You won’t drown in the

water.” ~ In this Psalm, the Bible says that the LORD keeps watch over

those who reverence or stand in awe of ) ?????yare( the LORD. So,

nothing that you face in life will escape the notice of the LORD. He is

always watching you and will care for you in every situation. Just trust

Him –take Him at His Word. He is always truthful.

We love and cherish you more than you know,

Dear Grands,

Psalm 32:3-6, “When I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted away

Through my groaning all day long. 4 For day and night Thy hand was

heavy upon me; My vitality was drained away as with the fever heat of summer.

5 I acknowledged my sin to Thee, And my iniquity I did not hide; I said,

‘I will confess my transgressions to the LORD’; And Thou didst forgive the

guilt of my sin. Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to Thee in a time

when Thou mayest be found.”

Those secret thoughts we have are sinful. What’s more, they have a

devastating effect upon our physical bodies. We try to push them away,

but they continually weaken us. But, when we confess them to the LORD,

He forgives us, and erases the guilt we feel. It is, therefore, beneficial

Both to our spiritual and physical lives that we pray for forgiveness while

we are able.

We love you! Listen well to the LORD’s message today!

Dear, Dear Grands,

Psalm 28:6-7, “Blessed be the LORD, Because He has heard the voice of my supplication.

The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped;

Therefore, my heart exults, And with my song I shall thank Him.”

Did you ever sing a prayer? I often do when we’re singing in church.

Sometimes I do when I’m alone in the car. When we pray and the LORD

answers us, we have reason to praise Him. The only true strength we

have comes from Him. He is also our only real protection. So, in our

hearts we rejoice exceedingly (exults), and with our voices we thank Him.

Remember, too, that we have just as much, if not more, reason to

praise the LORD than David. So, sing, Sing, SING!

May His blessings be yours today, tomorrow, and forever!

Dear Grands,

Psalm 25:12-13, “Who is the man who fears the LORD?

He will instruct him in the way he should choose. His soul

will abide in prosperity, And his descendants will inherit the land.”

What we have witnessed in recent days in the election of a new

President, has truly been the work of the LORD! The power of

the LORD should cause us to fear Him –I mean, to be afraid of

not living according to His instruction. He directs our individual

lives just as He directs the life of our nation. And when we

live according to His way, we will live in prosperity. That does

not mean financial riches, but good and pleasant things. We

will live in peace and safety. That is what Nana and I want

most for each of you. Just keep your focus on the LORD Jesus

Christ, and He will guide you into prosperity!

Pray for President-elect Trump and Vice-President-elect Pence!
