The Grands Letter (Early On-Time Edition) (GLJ)
Gene L. Jeffries, Th.D. on December 5, 2016 6:37 am (CST)Dear Grands,
John 1:6-9, “There came a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 He came as a witness, to testify about the Light, so that all might believe through him.
8 He was not the Light, but he came to testify about the Light.
9 There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man.”
I truly wish you could read the papers I am receiving from students!
One girl led a 104-year-old lady to Christ in a nursing home. Another
lady nearby, aged 50, and in the same nursing home, came to Christ, too.
But the girl had a decided advantage. The True Light of whom John
speaks had already prepared those women to receive the LORD.
Everything Jesus did on Earth, He did that “all (people) might believe on Him.
The verses above parallel with Romans 1:19 that tells us that the LORD
has “made it evident to them.” As it has been said, “The LORD put a God-shaped
heart in every person” –a place for the home of His Holy Spirit. Thus, every
person to whom we witness is already prepared for that witness. They just
have to believe on Him. What an advantage we have! They are just waiting
for us to share the Good News! They just don’t yet realize it.
God bless you today in your walk with the LORD,
Nana & Dado III
P. S. Please pray for a young teenage girl named Paola.
