The Grands Letter

Dear Grands,

Philippians 1:9-10, “And this I pray, that your love may abound

still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment,

10 so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be

sincere and blameless until the day of Christ…”

Philippians is considered by Bible scholars to be a “love letter.”

Paul prays in love for the Philippians that their love might be over and

above all real knowledge and perception. He wants them to be able

to test and approve every essential and valuable thing in life so that

they themselves might be able to be judged by sunlight and not stumble

until the day Jesus Christ returns. Even if you encounter someone

who appears to know more than you, your love will excel and overwhelm

them. There is no power greater than God’s Love, and it resides in you!
