The Grands Letter (GLJ)

Dear Grands,

Jeremiah 32:17, “’Ah Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and

the Earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You.’”

This prayer of Jeremiah should always encourage us. He acknowledges the LORD

as the Creator of the heavens and the Earth, and concludes by saying that absolutely

nothing is too difficult for Him. We often face situations that demand such a belief.

We should believe as Jeremiah believed. The LORD can do anything that is not in

conflict with His own character.

Love to you always,

Dear Grands,

Philippians 4:6-7, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication

with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which

surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Circumstances in life often produce anxiety. But we are not to be anxious about anything!

We are just to pray and acknowledge the presence and authority of our LORD over everything.

His peace is beyond our wildest imaginations; and He turns our hearts toward Himself, which

Is always comfort.

We love you all,

Dear Grands,

Psalm 139:14, “I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.”

This verse has special meaning to me today. Fearfully means “awesomely” and

wonderfully is translatable as “separated and distinct.” No animal comes close to

being what we human beings are! Adam understood that when he named the

animals (Gen 2:20). Treat your body with respect. It is the LORD’s gift to you,

and when not abused, it brings Him glory.

We love you all,

Dear Grands,

Titus 2:11-14. “For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men,

12 instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously

and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the

glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus, 14 who gave Himself for us to redeem us

from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous

for good deeds.”

There’s an implication in this passage that unless we deny ungodliness and live righteously,

we will overlook the Blessed Hope, which is the Coming of our LORD Jesus Christ. ~ There

are mixed beliefs about what the withdrawal of England from the European Community

will have upon all the nations of the world. It just may be that her withdrawal will be her

elimination from the 10 nation confederacy that will be controlled by the Antichrist.

That is precisely why Norway never entered the European Common Market! We are

living in the end times. What we eliminate from our lives that allows us to live righteously

will be advantageous to ourselves and to the LORD.

We will love you to the end,

Dear Grands,

Philippians 4:8, “Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable,

whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good

repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.”

Dwell is an imperative in Greek. It is not something to be treated lightly; it is

very important.

You are loved undyingly,
