The Grands Letter

Dear Grands,

2 John 1:7-9, “For many deceivers have gone out into the world,

those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh.

This is the deceiver and the antichrist. 8 Watch yourselves, that you

do not lose what we have accomplished, but that you may receive a

full reward. 9 Anyone who goes too far and does not abide in the

teaching of Christ, does not have God; the one who abides in the

teaching, he has both the Father and the Son.”

We can never be too careful. Our salvation does not depend upon

our works, be we must never presume upon God. He expects us

to live in and by His Word.

Dear Grands,

1 John 5:14-15, “This is the confidence which we have before Him,

that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if

we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have

the requests which we have asked from Him.”

Very simple: we ask; He hears and grants the request. But, our

asking must be according to His will. And His will is revealed in

His Word. Read the Word, pray, and believe.

Dear Grands,

1 John 3:1-3, “See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, t

hat we would be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason

the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 2 Beloved, now

we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be.

We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see

Him just as He is. 3 And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies

himself, just as He is pure.”

Stay focused on Jesus. Stay pure in your thoughts and you will stay pure

In your actions. The wickedness that prevails in this world is a sure sign

of the Coming of our LORD Jesus. We do not know when He will come,

but we don’t want to be embarrassed by not being pure and ready.

Dear Grands,

2 Peter 3:17-18, “You therefore, beloved…, be on your guard so that you are not

carried away by the error of unprincipled men and fall from your own steadfastness,

18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.”

Do I need to tell you how evil this world is? We must never let down our gurard!

If we do, we will become like those who are already opposed to Christ and His

Word. Think on positive and spiritual things. By that He is glorified and you

will be strengthened. God bless you abundantly!

Dear Grands,

1 Peter 4:10-11 “As each one has received a special gift, employ it

in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

11 Whoever speaks, is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances

of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength

which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through

Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen”

(1Pe 4:10).

I know this is a long passage. Just read it slowly and carefully. It has

true meaning to each of us. And remember, too, that everything you

do must always be to the glory of our LORD Jesus Christ.
