The Grands Letter

Dear Grands,

Psalm 19:14, “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart

Be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my rock and my Redeemer.”

Everyone can hear our speaking, but the LORD alone knows the thoughts

of our minds. Both are vital in their acceptability of the LORD. Both are

under our control. We have no excuse for wrong words or wrong thoughts.

The LORD will aid us in the control of both.

Psalm 16:7-11, “I will bless the LORD who has counseled me;

Indeed, my mind instructs me in the night. 8 I have set the LORD

continually before me; Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

9 Therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will dwell securely.

10 For You will not abandon my soul to Sheol; Nor will You allow Your Holy One to undergo decay.

11 You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy;

In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.”

Dear Grands,

Psalm 13:5-6, “But I have trusted in Your lovingkindness;

My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. 6 I will sing to the LORD,

Because He has dealt bountifully with me.”

Have you considered all the LORD has done for you? Our trust

rests in His kindness that comes from His love. His salvation

is to us both physical and spiritual. And He has poured out His

love and grace upon us in super-abundance. Now, that’s worth

singing about, isn’t it?

Dear Grands,

Psalm 4:7-8, “You have put gladness in my heart,

More than when their grain and new wine abound.

8 In peace I will both lie down and sleep,

For You alone, O LORD, make me to dwell in safety.”

The gladness which the LORD gives us is of far more

value than that the provisions He gives us; therefore,

we can sleep in peace with the confidence of His safe

keeping.

Don’t be anxious about anything! Just trust

You have shattered the teeth of the wicked. 8 Salvation belongs to the LORD; Your blessing

be upon Your people!”

Our protection is all matters comes from the LORD! We have no reason ever

to be fearful. We are His, and it is His responsibility to protect and bless us.
