Dear Grands,

John 15:4-5, “’Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself

unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me.

5 “’I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him,

he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.’”

There is nothing more comforting than to relax in a comfortable, easy place.

The word abide means just that –settle down and make your home in the LORD.

Criminals often give themselves up to the police because running from the law

Is not restful; it is tiring. The LORD offers us rest and peace when we abide in

Him. Notice that verse two says, “bear fruit,” then “bear more fruit.” Now,

In verse five, it says, “bears much fruit.” Remember that fruit here stands for

the attributes or characteristics of Christ Himself (Gal. 5:22-23). A sports coach

is never satisfied with the performance of his players. He pushes them to be better

and better. So, Christ wants us to be more and more like Him. And don’t

ever get the idea you can do this all by yourself. He says, “…apart from Me,

you can do nothing.” Trust Him. Relax in Him. Depend upon Him. He will

change your life!

We love you immensely and pray for you daily!
