The Grands Letter (GLJ)
Dear Grands,
John 3:16 is arguably the most well-known verse in the Bible. Psalm 23, if not equal,
is not far behind. While this is a Messianic psalm, think of what it meant to both the
life of Jesus and the life of David, and what it means to your life as well.
RELATIONSHIP: โThe LORD???? = (absolute faithfulness) is my shepherd,โ
REALIBITY OF PROVISIONS: โI shall not want.โ
RESTORATION OF BODY AND SOUL: 2 โHe makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters. 3 He restores my soul;โ
REDIRECTION: โHe guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.โ
REALIBILITY OF PROTECTION: 4 โEven though I walk through the valley of the shadow
of death (the valley of perfect darkness), I fear no evil; for Thou art with me;
Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me.โ
RECOGNITION: 5 โThou dost prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
Thou hast anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows.โ
RESOLUTION: 6 โSurely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life,
And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.โ
It will serve you well to meditate upon how much the LORD means to your life.
Never rush through Scripture! Let its deep meaning permeate your soul.
Love and prayers always,
