Dear Grands,

Romans 5:1-8, “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God.
3 And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance;
4 and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope;
5 and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
6 For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die.
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

We are living in a world that knows no peace. We use the word, but have no awareness of what it means. There are 10 verses in the Old Testament that speak of “no peace.” Five books in the Old Testament speak of “no peace.” Someone is always either saying or doing something that robs another of his peace.

Job 22:21 says “Yield now and be at peace with Him; thereby good will come to you.”
Proverbs 16:7 reads, “When a man’s ways are pleasing to the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.”

Are these verses not simply telling us that our ways are not pleasing to the LORD? If He were pleased, we would not experience the discontent that is now so much among us! Yet, if we know and obey the LORD, tribulation will be turned into peace and we will honor and exalt the LORD for His involvement in our lives.

Also, “When a man’s ways are pleasing to the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.” Stay close to God by believing on His Son, Jesus. There is a
keen, clear way to rid yourself of godlessness: get with God and stay there! He will recognize your heart’s desire and grant it to you.

Heartily in Christ Jesus,

(Dado III)
