Dear Grands,

Genesis 28:12-16, “He had a dream, and behold, a ladder was set on the earth with its top reaching to heaven; and behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.
13 And behold, the LORD stood above it and said, ‘I am the LORD, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie, I will give it to you and to your descendants.
14 ‘Your descendants will also be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west and to the east and to the north and to the south; and in you and in your descendants shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
15 ‘Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.’
16 Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, ‘Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it.’”

Have you ever had a dream? Well, have you ever had a dream that seemed absolutely real? If it were a good dream, you wouldn’t want it to quit. If it were an exceptionally good dream, you would want to remember it forever!

Jacob’s dream concerned a ladder that was based on Earth and extended all the way to Heaven. What was even more exciting was that there were angels who were ascending and descending on the ladder. In the New Testament, Jesus said to Nathaniel, “…you will see the heavens opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man” (John 1:51). Jacob’s experience was a dream; Nathaniel experienced a truth from the Words of Christ Himself.

It’s not likely that you or I should have a dream like Jacob or hear the words that Nathaniel heard from Jesus. What we have are the experiences of them both encased in the Scriptures themselves! For if we read the Scriptures carefully (word-by-word) and savor the meaning and application of each word, it will be better than any dream we might have!

Personally, I “see” Jesus as the Bible’s only means of our salvation. I “see” the souls of those who have trusted Him as LORD and Savior, ascending via Him into Heaven itself and for eternity. Yet, I live among people (many of whom are dear friends) who have never trusted Jesus as their Savior.

We must share Him with them! He is the only “Ladder,’ the only “Stairway” to Heaven itself.

Read my book below and share it with a lost friend.

Dear Grands,

Romans 5:6-10, “For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die.
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.
10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.”

The Apostle Paul never misses! Had he been an athlete, say in baseball, he would have been
awarded the Grand Prize for the most “hits and homers” in every season of the game.

With the blessings of the LORD attending, however, and despite our helplessness, Paul (and all of us), are potentially the recipients of the Grace of God. Jesus died for the ungodly; and that includes all of us. His love was more than that of Elizabeth Barrett Browning who wrote, “How do I love Thee? Let me count the ways.” As earnestly as she cared for her ill husband, Robert, she never died for him or for any of us. Only Jesus did!

The “reconciliation” of which the Apostle Paul wrote, comes to us through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus’ death proves His love for us, and His Son’s resurrection proves the His Father’s love for us and for Him! How could anyone ignore that kind of Love?
We should live in a perpetual state of praise! And we do when we live by His Life!

Are you living within His perpetual praise? If not, you can. Simply genuinely tell the LORD that
you are truly sorry for your sins and ask His forgiveness. It’s a simple confession. He takes
everything from there. God bless you!

Heartily in Christ Jesus,

Dear Grands,

Mark 13:21-26, “And then if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ’; or, ‘Behold, He is there’; do not believe him;
22 for false Christs and false prophets will arise, and will show signs and wonders, in order to lead astray, if possible, the elect.
23 “But take heed; behold, I have told you everything in advance.
24 “But in those days, after that tribulation, THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT,
25 AND THE STARS WILL BE FALLING from heaven, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken.
26 “Then they will see THE SON OF MAN COMING IN CLOUDS with great power and glory.”

If you are in the habit of reading daily news, it will not be surprising to you that
many people, and for many reasons, are looking for Jesus Christ to come! He
promised, “…I will come again and receive you to Myself…” (Jn 14:3); and He
listed some “signs” that would signal this momentous event!

Simultaneously, the LORD Jesus Christ warned us of “false Christs” and “false
prophets,” who will perform unbelievable “signs and wonders.” Their purpose is
to “lead astray…(if possible) the elect.” At every turn we read of some high profile
person, who has turned to the “Christian faith.” Reading further, we understand
not that they have accepted Christ, but achieved “redemption” through elements
of which they have terminated usage.

Others have witnessed “falling stars” and multiple spectacular heavenly events,
all of which they attribute to the “soon return of Jesus Christ to earth.” Don’t take
me as pushing the spectacular! I’m merely replacing error with truth! Jesus
Himself said, “… many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will
mislead many” (Mat. 24:5).

The next truly spectacular event will be the Coming of Jesus Christ in the air!
All of the warnings say, “Many will come in My Name” (Mat. 24:5; Mar. 13:6; and
Luk 21:8) and will mislead many.” I could fill these paragraphs with those who
Identify themselves as “the Messiah.”

At the same time, Jesus is coming! And those who diligently and carefully digest
His Word, will properly connect all the dots. Don’t be left behind! Trust Him today!
Then share your discovery with family and friends, who currently don’t know Him!

Heartily in Christ Jesus,

Dear Grands,

Nehemiah 4:8-15, “All of them conspired together to come and fight against Jerusalem and to cause a disturbance in it.
9 But we prayed to our God, and because of them we set up a guard against them day and night.
10 Thus in Judah it was said, “The strength of the burden bearers is failing, yet there is much rubbish; and we ourselves are unable to rebuild the wall.”
11 Our enemies said, ‘They will not know or see until we come among them, kill them and put a stop to the work.’
12 When the Jews who lived near them came and told us ten times, “They will come up against us from every place where you may turn,”
13 then I stationed men in the lowest parts of the space behind the wall, the exposed places, and I stationed the people in families with their swords, spears and bows.
14 When I saw their fear, I rose and spoke to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people: ’Do not be afraid of them; remember the Lord who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives and your houses.”
15 When our enemies heard that it was known to us, and that God had frustrated their plan, then all of us returned to the wall, each one to his work.”

Whatever the occasion, whatever the plan, there will always be opposition. The key to
both is contained in verse 9 above: pray and set up a guard. Of course the divine key
to deliverance of everything lies with the LORD. At the same time, He expects us to do
our part, according to the directive of His Word. An accident calls for an ambulance; yet
we pray before, during, and after it comes. Were prayer not necessary, why wouldl the
LORD direct us to pray?

But, what about fear? He says, “Do not be afraid…” He has made us creatures enabled
to fear, but desires that our remembrance of Him supersedes all fear. Our control over
fear comes from remembering the LORD! As my dear old grandmother used to say,
“They haven’t reckoned with the LORD.”

Multiple difficulties assail us. We are living in the Last Days. Situations of life are getting
more difficult by the day. Just don’t be afraid. Trust in the LORD. Pray for His guidance,
and follow His leading. “He does all things well.”

Heartily in Christ Jesus,
