The Grands Letter (Mark/GLJ)

Dear Grands,

Mark 13:5-10, “And Jesus began to say to them, ‘See to it that no one misleads you.

6 ‘Many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He!’ and will mislead many.

7 ‘When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be frightened; those things must take place; but that is not yet the end.

8 ‘For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; there will be earthquakes in various places; there will also be famines. These things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.

9 ‘But be on your guard; for they will deliver you to the courts, and you will be flogged in the synagogues, and you will stand before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them.

10 ‘The gospel must first be preached to all the nations.”

Recently, I did an AI search asking: “How many different pastors are currently on television, and how many could be solidly identified as ‘Biblically Christian?’”

AI’s response was staggering! “There are well over 100 different pastors currently appearing on global television.” Then there followed a huge listing of names, many of whom I would quickly challenge as lacking theological orthodoxy. Freedom is a wonderful asset; it is also often a rival of Biblical truth!

Further, AI stated this: “Currently, there are over 7,200 distinct people groups worldwide who have yet to hear the Gospel of the LORD Jesus Christ, meaning they are considered ‘unreached!’ These are the ones almost entirely lacking a local Christian witness and access to the message of Jesus without outside help. This amounts to more than 3 billion individuals, representing about 42% of the world population in 2025.”

Have you ever considered emailing the Gospel to unsaved friends? Do you pray for friends you know need it but do not possess the Gospel? Remember Mark 13:10: “The gospel must first be preached to all the nations.” Your lost friends are part of “the nations.” My prayer is for you in this venture; and if you yourself have never trusted in Jesus Christ, my prayer is foremost for you!

Heartily in Christ,
