The Grands Letter (Matt/GLJ)

Dear Grands,
Matthew 7:7-11, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock and it will be opened to you.
8 “For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
9 “Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone?
10 “Or if he asks for a fish, will he not give him a snake, will he?
11 “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!”
When was the last time someone asked you to ask for anything, and it would be given to you, no questions asked?
Well, this Scripture above is what Jesus said to His disciples. Furthermore, that is precisely what He is saying to you – if you are one of His disciples.
If you’re not, or even if you’re not sure, you can become one by simply yielding yourself to Him in earnest, faithful prayer. Confess your sins to Him and ask for His forgiveness and believe His promise that He will forgive.
Immediately, the LORD Jesus Christ will forgive your sins! He will make you one of His children, and you will have access to everything He offers! You are at that moment one of His children!
I look forward to rejoicing with you in your newly found faith!
Heartily in Christ,
